Storyline:
For almost three years, Jessica has been the valued assistant to CHARLES DARLINGTON, a wealthy captain of industry and the head of a multi-million dollar company that has been in his family for generation. When Charles is called away to Europe on business, Jessica partners with Max, Charles’s younger brother, to care for Charles and Max’s three orphaned nieces and nephews, EMMA, J. HENRY and BREE, who are returning home from Australia for the first time in years. Polite but guarded, accustomed to disappointment and loss, the three children are initially emotionally reserved, but soon warm under Jessica and Max’s combined good will, not to mention the magic of a traditional New England Christmas. Jessica is warmed as well, as she realizes that Max is not the playboy she’s always assumed he is, but a serious man with many hidden virtues. Now, if only he and Jessica can convince Charles of that simple fact. And if only they can put their relationship on a solid footing in time to give the kids the stable home they so desperately need…
