The synopsis for the first episode of A Million Little Things Season 3 reads: “In the aftermath of Eddie’s car accident, Katherine [Grace Park] leans on their beloved group of friends for support. Meanwhile, Rome [Romany Malco] and Regina [Christina Moses] face a tough decision about the future of their family, and Delilah sees how her kids are thriving and wants the same for herself. Maggie [Allison Miller] jump starts her new life in Oxford, while Gary [James Roday Rodriguez] continues to navigate his new relationship with Darcy [Floriana Lima].”

Speaking in an interview with TVInsider, showrunner DJ Nash says of Eddie’s status coming into Season 3: “Katherine and Theo’s life will never be the same,” before hinting that the character is dead.”

However, that does not mean that Giuntoli is leaving the show. As the showrunner added: “Jon [Ron Livingston] died in the cold open up the pilot and Ron is still an active part of our series. We couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to David Giuntoli. Whether or not Eddie is actively part of their friends’ lives going forward is what our premiere’s all about.

The Mysterious Dean Hinchey…

Dean Hinchey has finished shooting a role on Episode #102 of Disney Plus’ upcoming series, ‘The Mysterious Benedict Society’.

The Mysterious Benedict Society, a new adventure drama series based on the best-selling YA novel by Trenton Lee Stewart.

Written by Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay is now being moved to Disney Plus after originally being developed for Hulu.

The show was originally ordered to series at Hulu last year, but is now slated to debut on fellow Disney-owned streamer Disney Plus in 2021.

“‘The Mysterious Benedict Society’ is a beautifully executed adaptation of the celebrated and beloved book series. It’s original, clever and fun for the whole family, which makes it the perfect fit for Disney+,” said Dana Walden, chairman of Entertainment for Walt Disney Television. “One of the great benefits to creators working with our company is that we have a platform that’s right for every series, and having seen the first few episodes of this show, there is no better home for it than Disney+.”  It is the tale of four gifted orphans who are recruited by an eccentric, benefactor (Hale) to go on a secret mission.

Tony Hale’s Mr. Benedict, a rumpled, affable eccentric genius, is the head of the Mysterious Benedict Society – a group of orphans he has recruited to save the world. While Mr. Benedict is reluctant to put the children in harm’s way, he feels there is no other choice. His Society is mysterious, and so is Mr. Benedict himself; he is the genial, cunning mastermind.

The eight-episode first season stars Tony Hale, Kristen Schaal, Ryan Hurst, MaameYaa Boafo, Gia Sandhu, Seth Carr, Emmy DeOliveira, Mystic Inscho, and Marta Timofeeva. The Mysterious Benedict Society” is executive produced by Sonar Entertainment, 20th Television, Jamie Tarses, Karen Kehela Sherwood, and writers and co-creators Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay. Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin serve as executive producers and showrunners. James Bobin will direct the pilot and will also executive produce. 20th Television serves as the studio.

The Mysterious Benedict Society, written by Stewart and illustrated by Carson Ellis, was published by Little, Brown and Company in 2007, launching a best-selling book franchise that also includes sequels The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey and The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner’s Dilemma as well as prequel The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict.

Biannca’s role in the first episode set a benchmark of, what can we say… ‘ordinary-strangeness‘?!…and that definitely helped to inform the tone of the series.

HO, HO, HO!!

Fatman will hit select theaters on Nov. 13 and on VOD Nov. 17.

“A superhero film wrapped in a thriller dipped in western and sprinkled with satire” — that’s how writer-directors the Nelms Bros describe their new holiday fantasy action film Fatman.

Christmas spirit looks a little different with Mel Gibson, who we see portraying a rowdy, gun-toting Santa Claus!

The action-comedy directed by Ian and Eshom Nelms centers on a neglected 12-year-old boy (Chance Hurstfield) who hires a highly skilled assassin (Walton Goggins) to take out Chris Cringle (Gibson) after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking. Cringle proves himself a worthy adversary as he is not so jolly or festively plump, and more so skilled in weaponry after being forced into a partnership with the U.S. military to save his declining business.

Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Shaun Benson co-star in the dark Christmas tale.

Fatman is produced by Fortitude International’s Nadine de Barros and Mammoth Entertainment’s Todd Courtney, along with RBL Studios’ Michelle Lang, Zed Filmworks’ Robert Menzies and Skywolf Media’s Lisa Wolofsky.

TRAILER:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/05/movies/operation-christmas-drop-review.html

Operation Christmas Drop is a 2020 American Christmas rom-com movie coordinated by Martin Wood from a screenplay by Gregg Rossen and Brian Sawyer. The film stars Kat Graham and Alexander Ludwig and is approximately founded on the genuine U.S. Flying corps Operation Christmas Drop compassionate mission wherein a military base in Guam drops supplies and gifts on the most remote islands of Micronesia during the holiday season.

Back in 1952 around Christmastime, an American aircrew saw people waving at them from the island of Kapingamarangi, which is a few thousand miles southwest of Hawaii. To spread some holiday cheer, the aircrew dropped a bundle of supplies attached to a parachute to the islanders. From then on, Operation Christmas Drop became an annual tradition that involves sending supplies–like medicine, food, equipment, school necessities, clothing, and toys–to people on more than 50 islands throughout the Pacific Ocean that are not easily reached by boat.

The movie was filmed at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, the actual base camp for the operation.

The icy and professionally stifled legislative aide, Erica (Kat Graham), is sent by her Grinchy congresswoman boss (Virginia Madsen) to evaluate the efficiency of a U.S. Air Force base in Guam.

There, she goes toe to toe with Andrew (Alexander Ludwig), a genial Air Force captain, who knows her assignment is finding reasons to defund the facility and who then spearheads the operation of the title, where gifts are parachuted to people on neighboring islands.

He must convince the Scrooge-like local mayor (Aaron Douglas) to help contribute to the mission of American altruism. And Erica’s assignment might be aborted in favor of holiday miracles.

Take Me To The River!

Netflix viewers quickly fell in love with Virgin River when it debuted on the streaming service in December 2019. Adapted from the Virgin River novels by author Robyn Carr, the romantic drama stars Alexandra Breckenridge as Melinda “Mel” Monroe, a midwife and nurse practitioner from Los Angeles who moves to a beautiful but remote Northern California town following a series of traumatic heartbreaks. Monroe soon discovers that small-town living isn’t quite as simple as she expected and that she must learn to heal herself before she can truly make Virgin River her home.

The mark of a good show is when it leaves fans wanting more — and season 1 of Virgin River did just that. The heartwarming, Hallmark-worthy drama was full of twists and turns right up until the very end.

In Season 2 The Reel World Management-produced show picks up some time after “Mel” left the fictional and titular town at the end of the first season. Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), had just declared his love for Mel after learning that he is expecting a child with his friend with benefits, Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley).

Joining the regular cast is Grayson Gurnsey (Game On), who previously recurred in the first season. Gurnsey continues to portray ‘Ricky’, a clean-cut, nice-looking teenager who works at the local tavern owned by ‘Jack’ (Henderson), living with his grandmother after the loss of his parents. Upon the arrival of this beautiful newcomer into town, he struggles between being a good kid and finding the confidence to make his own choices. Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Jenny Cooper, Colin Lawrence, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Sarah Dugdale and Daniel Gillies also star.

Fans of Virgin River have been (not-so-) patiently waiting for almost a year to find out the release date for the second season of the romantic drama. Netflix announced in mid October that Season 2 of Virgin River will debut Friday, Nov. 27, right in time for the long Thanksgiving weekend. It will consist of 10 episodes.
