Maureen Goodwill brings her high energy, creativity and her keen eye and passion for developing talent. Maureen (also known as “Mo”), has become somewhat of a legend, due to her relentless drive to help create success for her clients. This is especially apparent with her commitment and enthusiasm while working with kids and young adults, although her roster now includes a full spectrum of (appoximately 180) actors of all ages.
Mo has an extensive background in the film, television and music industries, in both Production/Development, and as a Casting Director/Talent Agent/Manager. She graduated from Concordia University cum laude, specializing in Film production, and first began working in the industry as a casting director on numerous television series, anthologies and feature films. She started out with Elite Productions in Montreal and then with Atlantis Films, which then brought her out to “sunny” Vancouver during the year of Expo to cast the first ever TV series out of the North Shore Studios called “Airwolf.“
She has also been involved in many areas of film production, including working on the awarding winning television series for youth called “You Me and the Kids.” Mo has also helped to run and manage an independent graphics art studio as Art Director/Production Coordinator, and was involved in the creation of an online image licensing shopping cart selling retro clipart for merchandising, promotion and design in film, music, web and advertising. www.retroclipart.com
Mo is also involved in music management, and has been coordinating the production of “Urban Soundscapes”, and “Anthony Bosley” music. (hip, urban, jazz-funk and contemporary), providing an exceptional resource for film and television soundtracks. This music can be found on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, YouTube and many other well-known music distribution services.
Mo has secured and negotiated many deals for her actors on major feature films with award winning producers and directors, including, the renowned Netflix Trilogy, “To All The Boys“, “To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You“, and “To All The Boys: Always And Forever“, as well as “Color Out Of Space” (starring Nicholas Cage)”, and “Fatman” (starring Mel Gibson). Older feature films include “Good Boys“, “The Package“, “Deadpool“, “The 9th Life Of Louis Drax“, “Freaky Friday” and “Big Eyes“.
