Tori Katongo books a role in Up TV’s episodic show “Ties That Bind”. Up’s first original scripted series, a hybrid police procedural and family drama, was created and executive produced by Sheryl J. Anderson (Charmed, UP’s The Town that Came A-Courtin) and Stan Spry (UP’s The Town that Came A-Courtin, A Place In The Sun).
It revolves around Allison McLean (Kelli Williams), a tough and experienced police detective, mother and wife in suburban Seattle. When she and her police partner (Dion Johnstone) must arrest her brother (Luke Perry) for aggravated assault, her world drastically changes as he’s convicted and sent to prison, leaving his two teenagers teetering on the brink of foster care.
