Conor Gomez books Romeo Section, Episode 203.

From acclaimed showrunner Chris Haddock (Da Vinci’s Inquest, Intelligence), The Romeo Section is an hour-long serialized espionage drama set in Vancouver. It follows spymaster Professor Wolfgang McGee, an academic who secretly manages a roster of espionage assets. These assets, referred to as Romeo or Juliet spies, are informants engaged in intimate relations with intelligence targets. Wolfgang himself is a semi-retired Romeo operator, having worked his way up in an officially deniable “service” under the umbrella of Canada’s Intelligence Community. They operate in a seemingly serene cosmopolitan city whose underside acts as a haven for drug barons, fugitives and covert financiers. The series has Haddock reunited with fellow executive producer Laura Lightbown; director Stephen Surjik; producer Arvi Liimatainen; and writer/co-executive producer Jesse McKeown.

It stars Andrew Airlie, Jemmy Chen, Juan Riedinger and Matt Bellefleur.

Emmanuel Bempong books a role on Aftermath, Episode 110.

Aftermath is an upcoming Canadian television drama series.
A first season containing 13 episodes is set to air in 2016 on Syfy in the US and on Space in Canada on September 27, 2016.
In Aftermath, a family of five’s strength is tested when it becomes evident that the world as they know it is coming to an end and they must take to the road for survival. The Copeland family (parents Josh and Karen, and their children Matt, Brianna and Dana) face terrifying supernatural creatures and unprecedented disasters, including massive storms, earthquakes, meteor impacts, plague and the rapid decline of civilization as they endeavor to make it through to the mysterious next phase.

Everrett Shea books a role in The Arrangement.

Produced by Universal Cable Productions, The Arrangement follows Megan Morrison (Christine Evangelista), a beautiful young actress who auditions for the female lead in a summer blockbuster playing opposite Kyle West (Josh Henderson), one of the world’s top action movie stars. Kyle’s mentor is Terrence Anderson (Michael Vartan), who runs a self-help organization called the Institute of The Higher Mind with his wife Deann (Lexa Doig). After Megan’s amazing audition leads to an incredible first date (and more) with Kyle, her Cinderella story takes an unexpected turn when she is presented with a contract that would change her life forever.

The Arrangement drew a lot of attention at the pilot stage due to some similarities between its plot and Tom Cruise, his ties to Scientology and his relationship with Katie Holmes, leading to the network issuing a statement that the project was not inspired by anyone in particular.

Jonathan Abrahams wrote the pilot and executive produces with Jimmy Fox of Objective Productions USA, an All3Media company, along with Layla Smith and Gregory Lipstone of All3Media America, who also executive produce.

Kylee Dawson returns in series “Travelers“.

“Travelers“, is an original time-traveling sci-fi series starring Eric McCormack (Will & Grace, Perception).

Created and written by Brad Wright, co-creator of Stargate SG-1 and creator of related franchises Stargate: Atlantis and SGU, Travelers is set hundreds of years from now when the last surviving humans discover the means of sending consciousness back through time, directly into people in the 21st century.  These “travelers” assume the lives of seemingly random people, while secretly working as teams to perform missions in order to save humanity from a terrible future. These travelers are: FBI Special Agent Grant MacLaren (McCormack), the team’s leader; Marcy (Porter), a young, intellectually disabled woman in the care of her social worker, David (Gilmore);?Trevor (Abrahamson), a high school quarterback; Carly (Cooper), a single mom in an abusive relationship;  and Philip (Dolman), a heroin-addicted college student. Armed only with their knowledge of history and an archive of social media profiles, the travelers discover that 21st century lives and relationships are as much a challenge as their high-stakes missions.

Also cast in the series are MacKenzie Porter, Jared Abrahamson, J. Alex Brinson, Nesta Cooper, Reilly Dolman, Patrick Gilmore, Arnold Pinnock, Dylan Playfair and Ian Tracey.

Travelers extends the hot trend of time travel series. There are 3 time-traveling pilots in contention at the US broadcast networks, dramasTime at NBC and Time After Time at ABC and comedy Making History at Fox, as well as the new CW series Legends of Tomorrow and Comedy Central limited series Time Traveling Bong.

Travelers, which features a predominantly Canadian cast, was originally developed at the CFC Prime Time TV Program with Canadian writers. “We’re excited to work with this amazing cast led by Eric McCormack. It’s all a dream come true for a Scarborough boy like me,” Wright said.

Van Helsing, is a new take on the Dracula myth.
