Emmanuel Bempong has booked the recurring role of Baba on “The Whispers” for which he has had to work with a translator and learn a new language!The Whispers is an upcoming American television series created and executive produced by Soo Hugh with co-executive producers Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Dawn Olmstead for ABC Studios. It is based on the Ray Bradbury short story “Zero Hour” from The Illustrated Man.The series explores what happens when an alien race from another world begins a mysterious and quiet takeover of Earth by using the most unlikely and unsuspecting inhabitants on the planet – the children.
