Chance Hurstfield has finished filming on Universal Pictures R-Rated Comedy Good Boys.
Universal Pictures acquired Good Boys, a coming-of-age comedy with Jacob Tremblay — the young star of Room and Wonder.
The movie is described as being in the vein of “Superbad“ and “Sausage Party”.
Tremblay plays the mischievous leader of a group of four 12-year-olds on the cusp of becoming teenagers as they embark on an epic quest in the San Fernando Valley to fix their broken toy before their parents get home. Their day of skipping school ends up being an odyssey of awesomely bad decisions and comedic adventures.
Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky of The Office wrote the movie’s script and will also direct.
Point Grey principals Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver will produce. Good Universe’s Nathan Kahane will executive produce.
