GRAYSON GURNSEY IS BACK AS “RICKY”!!

VIRGIN RIVER IS RENEWED FOR SEASON 3 !!

Netflix’s latest romance drama series “Virgin River” season 2, started streaming on Netflix on November 27 and it now has been officially renewed for Season 3. Starring Martin Henderson (Jack Sheridan) and Alexandra Breckenridge (Mel Monroe), the show has been picked up for an additional 10 episodes.

There is no official release date yet for “Virgin River” Season 3. However, when it returns, the show is expected to deal with the biggest cliffhanger from season 2. Just when Mel was about to find her ‘happily ever after with Jack’, she discovers him lying on the ground, bleeding from gunshot wounds. The show is yet to reveal Jack’s fate, who was behind the shooting.

The second season took us back to the small town that everyone loves and gave us even more drama. The Reel World Management-produced show picks up some time after “Mel” left the fictional and titular town at the end of the first season. Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), had just declared his love for Mel after learning that he is expecting a child with his friend with benefits, Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley).
Based on the bestselling novel series by Robyn Carr, the show originally premiered as a Netflix original in December 2019.

Deadline has confirmed “Virgin River” Season 3 will return with all of its major characters from the previous seasons. The returning cast includes Henderson and Breckenridge in leading roles along with Tim Matheson (Vernon Mullins), Annette O’Toole (Hope), Colin Lawrence (Preacher), Benjamin Hollingsworth (Brady), and Lauren Hammersley (Charmaine) and star-crossed lovers Ricky (Grayson Maxwell Gurnsey)and Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale).

The third season of the romantic drama will introduce two new characters in a recurring role as portrayed by Zibby Allen and Stacey Farber. Allen reportedly plays the role of Brie, Jack’s sister. She is a lawyer by profession and described as “smart, hard-charging, ballsy and a whole lot of fun.”

Farber plays the character named Tara Anderson, who happens to be Lilly’s (Linda Boyd) daughter. Fans would remember Lilly mentioning her daughter in season 1 of the series when she was struggling with postpartum depression after delivering Baby Chloe. The show finally introduces the daughter who will be helping Lily with the farm and her newborn daughter.

Remaking A Classic!

Arman Nejadi has finished shooting a role on Episode #105 of Turner & Hooch, Disney+’s upcoming series reboot of the classic 1989 comedy feature, from 20th Television.

Like the movie, the hour long series centers on Scott Turner, played by Josh Peck, who now is a U.S. marshal — versus the police detective played by Tom Hanks in the movie. When the ambitious, buttoned-up marshal inherits a big unruly dog, Hooch, he soon realizes the pet he didn’t want may be the partner he needs.

In the 12-episode series from Burn Notice writer / creator Matt Nix, the role of Hooch is played by five different dogs of the same breed: Arnie, Hammer, Obi, Cyd and Mya. (It is Hammer in this pic.)

In addition to Peck, the human cast of the series includes Lyndsy Fonseca as Laura, Carra Patterson as Jessica, Vanessa Lengies as Erica, Antony Ruivivar as Chief James Clark, Brandon Jay McLaren as Xavier, Jeremy Maguire as Matthew and Becca Tobin as Brooke.

Nix is also executive producing and Josh Levy is co-executive producer. 20th TV, part of Disney TV Studios, is the studio.

Turner & Hooch was first released in 1989. Along with Hanks, the cast also included Mare Winningham, Craig T. Nelson, and Reginald VelJohnson. Roger Spottiswoode directed. It went on to gross over $70 million at the box office on a reported budget of $13 million.

Peck first broke out as one of the two stars of the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh. His recent TV roles include playing one of the leads on the Fox comedy Grandfathered, as well as appearances on shows like The Mindy Project and Fuller House. On the film side, he is known for roles in projects such as Locating Silver Lake, Take the 10, Danny Collins, and The Wackness.

Nix most recently created the Fox show The Gifted and co-created Fox’s APB under his overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television, which is now part of Disney. He is perhaps best known for creating the USA Network series Burn Notice, which ran for seven seasons. Nix’s other credits include The Comedians, Complications, and The Good Guys.

Take Me To The River!

Watch Season 2, which starts streaming on November 27.

Netflix viewers quickly fell in love with Virgin River when it debuted on the streaming service in December 2019. Adapted from the Virgin River novels by author Robyn Carr, the romantic drama stars Alexandra Breckenridge as Melinda “Mel” Monroe, a midwife and nurse practitioner from Los Angeles who moves to a beautiful but remote Northern California town following a series of traumatic heartbreaks. Monroe soon discovers that small-town living isn’t quite as simple as she expected and that she must learn to heal herself before she can truly make Virgin River her home.

The mark of a good show is when it leaves fans wanting more — and season 1 of Virgin River did just that. The heartwarming, Hallmark-worthy drama was full of twists and turns right up until the very end.

In Season 2 The Reel World Management-produced show picks up some time after “Mel” left the fictional and titular town at the end of the first season. Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), had just declared his love for Mel after learning that he is expecting a child with his friend with benefits, Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley).

Joining the regular cast is Grayson Gurnsey (Game On), who previously recurred in the first season. Gurnsey continues to portray ‘Ricky’, a clean-cut, nice-looking teenager who works at the local tavern owned by ‘Jack’ (Henderson), living with his grandmother after the loss of his parents. Upon the arrival of this beautiful newcomer into town, he struggles between being a good kid and finding the confidence to make his own choices. Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Jenny Cooper, Colin Lawrence, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Sarah Dugdale and Daniel Gillies also star.

Fans of Virgin River have been (not-so-) patiently waiting for almost a year to find out the release date for the second season of the romantic drama. Netflix announced in mid October that Season 2 of Virgin River will debut Friday, Nov. 27, right in time for the long Thanksgiving weekend. It will consist of 10 episodes.

BRIEF SYNOPSIS: The Arctic in 2040. The ice caps are drastically depleted, and despite ongoing global concern for climate change, countries have continued to ramp up fossil fuel extraction in the region. Oil has been flowing fast and cheap from the Arctic for the last twenty years—but it’s time to turn off the taps. Scientists have pinpointed the exact date by which all extraction must cease. After that, there’s no chance of saving the planet. The finding has inspired a controversial movement called Halt Day, which is regarded as either a sliver of hope or a recipe for disaster, depending who you ask.
