Marybelle Sagard has booked “PROJECT SPAIN” – A VIDEO GAME CASTING for ELECTRONIC ARTS!
hello
Written by Remender and Miles Feldsott who will also serve as executive producers the Deadly Class is an unlikely coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of late 80’s counter culture which follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins. Maintaining his moral code while navigating a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties may prove fatal.
Sony Pictures Television and Universal Cable Productions will produce.
Chance Hurstfield has been busy voicing the role of one of the lead puppies in the series Puppy Prep Academy!!!
Puppy Prep Academy is a new House of Mouse series. The show is being produced by Air Bud Entertainment, the Malibu-based production company behind the Disney Air Buddies direct-to-DVD film series. Expected to hit Disney Channel US in 2019, the new series will follow live-action talking animals as they learn to become humankind’s best friends.
At Puppy Prep Academy, young pups learn everything they need to know about being a “human’s best friend.” Under the guidance of the esteemed dog faculty, the pups lucky enough to attend learn how to be best friends, teachers, and protectors of humans in an effort “to carry forward to the world a mission of unconditional love,”…This comedy centers around three puppy best friends, Whiz, Corazon, Maximus who together navigate the world of going to school and growing up. They are puppies, but they face all the same challenges as human kids!
Kurt Ostlund is busy filming a recurring role on TNT’s adaptation of Snowpiercer.
Snowpiercer is based on the French graphic novel by Jacques Lob (writer) and Jean-Marc Rochette (art). The show takes place in an apocalyptic future where the planet has been ravaged by a new ice age and the only survivors live aboard a high-speed train.
Doctor Strange and Sinister filmmaker Scott Derrickson helmed the feature-length pilot before famously stepping away.
Derrickson said the pilot, from a 72-page script penned by Josh Friedman (Sarah Connor Chronicles, War of the Worlds), “may be my best work.”
It touches on themes of class warfare, social injustice, and the politics of survival as the remnants of humanity — split into fractions of the lower and upper-class — are now trapped in an always-moving train circling the globe seven years after the Freeze, a devastating event that left the world a frosted-over wasteland.
The series will premiere on TNT and Netflix in 2019.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before Is an Extraordinary Rom-Com About Ordinary Teens starring Madeleine Arthur and Isabelle Beech.
Novelist Jenny Han and screenwriter Sofia Alvarez joined forces for Netflix’s quietly revolutionary new rom-com, which puts an Asian-American heroine front and centre.
Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (released August 17) has brought a tender, lighthearted romance story to life!
Directed by Susan Johnson, the film is charming across the board—but it’s the story at its center, written by Han and adapted for the screen by Alvarez, that makes it stand out. Based on Han’s best-selling Y.A. novel, To All the Boys follows high-school junior Lara Jean Song Covey (Lana Condor), after her hatbox of love letters—one for each of the five boys she’s loved in her life—mysteriously goes missing. Our protagonist, who would much rather fantasize about love than actually fall into it, is suddenly forced to face her feelings head-on, navigating potential suitors including her middle-school crush, Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo), and her older sister’s ex-boyfriend, Josh Sanderson (Israel Broussard), while simultaneously dealing with all the other stressors that come with being a teenager.
“When I wrote the book, I went into it hoping to write a modern, classic love story that felt really warm and cozy,” said Han. This is a story about a young girl who is comfortable being the sidekick in her own narrative, before suddenly finding herself to be the heroine:
This is a film that doesn’t talk down to its audience about subjects such as sex and dating, but instead treats them as young adults, demonstrating how anyone’s initial attempts at romance are like learning to walk: We’re all a little bit wobbly at first. Conceived as a kind of “Sixteen Candles” for the Snapchat generation, this endearing Netflix Original offers an honest, unsentimental take on the lives of high school students.
Cast:
Lana Condor as Lara Jean Song Covey, the main protagonist.
Isabelle Beech as young Lara Jean.
Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky, Lara Jean’s main love interest.
Hunter Dillon as young Peter.
Israel Broussard as Josh Sanderson, Margot’s boyfriend, and one of Lara Jean’s love letter recipients.

This is the fifth iteration of “Freaky Friday,” but the first in telling the story through music on screen, with the musical numbers progressing the story as well as heightening the emotion of the actions of the story. Adding song and dance to the subtext of each scene, each character’s inner dialogue is emphasized and all the more relatable to the viewing audience. The story and the music gets a message across about empathy — and how the empathy we develop for our parents extends to the rest of the world.
Based on Mary Rodgers‘ 1972 novel, Freaky Friday first hit screens in 1976, starring Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster. The popular franchise has been remade on screen twice since then, as a 1995 TV movie with Shelley Long and Gaby Hoffman, and again in 2003 with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
