Exciting news!!! Virgin River is finally here!
Don’t miss Grayson Gurnsey who plays series regular “Ricky” in the Netflix romance adaptation.
December 6, 2019 is the global premiere date for #1 New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr’s ten-episode Virgin River series.
Virgin River is one of Carr’s most beloved contemporary romance series, having sold more than 13 million copies worldwide across twenty books, and MIRA Books has beautifully repackaged it for the Netflix release.
The cast also includes Alexandra Breckenridge (This Is Us, The Walking Dead), Martin Henderson (Grey’s Anatomy, Miracles from Heaven), Tim Matheson (The Affair, The Good Fight) and Annette O’Toole (Smallville, Marvel’s The Punisher). Sue Tenney (Cedar Cove, 7th Heaven) is attached as showrunner and executive producer, with Jocelyn Freid, Chris Perry and Roma Roth as executive producers.
In Virgin River, Melinda Monroe (Breckenridge) answers an ad to work as a nurse practitioner in the remote California town of Virgin River, thinking it will be the perfect place to start fresh and leave her painful memories behind. But she soon discovers that small-town living isn’t quite as simple as she expected and she must learn to heal herself before she can truly make Virgin River her home.
Carr says, “I always thought the Virgin River series would make a good television series, and I’m so excited that twelve years after the publication of the first novel, I’ll be celebrating by watching my characters come to life. I truly believe that the world needs more uplifting romance and I know the show will leave viewers feeling just as uplifted and fulfilled as my books have.”

Comcast Brings ‘E.T.’ Back to Earth!!
Nicolas Cage offers up another “gonzo” performance in this story of cosmic terror following the Gardners, a family who moves to a remote farmstead in rural New England to escape the hustle of the 21st century. While they are busy adapting to their new life, a meteorite crashes into their front yard. The mysterious aerolite seems to melt into the earth, infecting both the land and the properties of space-time with a strange, otherworldly color. To their horror, the Gardners discover that this alien force is gradually mutating every life form that it touches…including them.
The film which also stars Joely Richardson as Nathan’s wife, along with Madeleine Arthur, Brendan Meyer, Julian Hilliard, Elliot Knight, Q’Orianka Kilcher, and Tommy Chong invades theaters on January 24, 2020.
“Hopefully, this movie heralds a return of Richard Stanley, a man given short shrift and who has a great eye for throwback horror and truly creepy cinema.” (Film Inquiry)
The actress is also coming on board as an executive producer, alongside Stephanie Germain and Lee Rose. Maggie Friedman will write, showrun and executive produce the 10-episode series. Original author Hannah serves as a co-executive producer. Friedman was previously a writer-producer on “Dawson’s Creek”, “Witches of East End”, and, more recently, the CW’s “No Tomorrow”.
As the season progresses, the audience will learn more about Harry’s past as he learns more about the town of Patience, Colorado. Again, we can’t divulge a ton, but the darkly comedic pilot does end on a cliffhanger that will sustain the rest of Season 1’s overarching story. Moreover, it’s actually a mystery arc translated directly from the comics.
Francisco Cano has booked a role on Episode #310 of Freeform’s, ‘Siren‘.
The mermaid thriller is based on a story by co-writers Eric Wald and Dean White, and is set in the coastal town of Bristol Cove, known in legend an ancient home of mermaids. The legend part changed though, when reality set in with the arrival of the mysterious Ryn (Eline Powell), who wreaks havoc on the small fishing town.

On March 25, 2018, it was reported that Charmed would change showrunners and creative direction starting with season two. The executive producer, Carter Covington, would be replaced with the husband-wife duo, Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro as the new showrunners. The show would also change direction to focus more on the supernatural genre as opposed to family dynamics.
